My participation in the Weizmann charitable gift annuity program has been a mitzvah in the fullest sense of the word. It is, in fact, a kind of double mitzvah.

Norman Cohen When I first visited the Weizmann Institute back in 1970 at the encouragement of Dewey Stone, I saw the enormous potential of what could be of what Weizmann could contribute to the State of Israel and to the world. For over 35 years, I have had great joy in watching the Weizmann Institute fulfill its potential.I know you share my pride in the growth of the Institute into one of the world’s foremost centers of scientific research. Now, we must all work to assure that Weizmann will continue to flourish for years to come. That is why my wife, Judith, and I decided to establish a Weizmann charitable gift annuity. We were impressed with the high return and tax benefits we would receive from a gift that would help to secure the future of this great Institute. |

Gershon Kekst I first began supporting Weizmann's research on Jewish genetic diseases almost 40 years ago, a few years after my brother's death. Later, as Chairman of the Institute's Board during the Jubilee Campaign, I made a commitment to establish the Kekst Family Center for Medical Genetics. I provided a substantial portion of the funding for the Center during the campaign. The rest will be provided through my estate plans. |

Parents of Peter Szolovits, Ph.D. My parents left their legacy to Weizmann both as an affirmation of their beliefs in the importance of science and as an indication of their hope for the future of Israel. My wife and I, our children, and our extended family around the world are proud of the legacy that my parents have created from their years of hard work. We know it will bear fruit in scientific breakthroughs that will benefit generations to come. |

Dr. Albert Sabin Dr. Albert Sabin served as the fourth President of the Weizmann Institute years after developing the oral polio vaccine. His commitment to Weizmann was so strong that, upon his death in 1993, he left his entire estate to Weizmann. Dr. Sabin chose to direct his bequest to the support of Weizmann’s solar energy research. He believed that developing a viable alternative to exhaustible, polluting fossil fuels would provide a legacy for the world surpassing that of his work on the polio vaccine. |
